Mission and Values Committee

This college wide committee, established in 1996, promotes the integration of the mission and values of Gwynedd-Mercy College in all areas of the campus culture, and challenges the community to model effectively Catholic and Mercy identity in the spirit of Catherine McAuley.

The functions of the commitee are to:

• provide a mission and values component for all orientation programs in collaboration with other appropriate personnel;
• provide ongoing educative expereinces in mission for all members of the community, in conjunction with other professional and personal development efforts;
• facilitate an understanding of the Directional Statements of the Sisters of Mercy, as they influence the formation of institutional policies and practices;
• serve as a resource to the College communty to clarify Mercy values and the principles of justice.
